Coaching is both an art and a science. With the water polo landscape in a constant state of change it is important to know what is happening with rules, techniques, tactics and ethics. At the Camp of Champions, we believe that it is essential to help coaches stay at the top of their game.
Monte and Ken are at the forefront of helping to shape the water polo scene on a national level and during the camp share their experience and expertise in small, interactive coaches’ workshops.
In the workshops you’ll discuss:
- Tactical Skills for Success
- Teaching basic and advanced skills
- Offenses and Defenses
- Developing specialty positions
- Developing a coaching/training plan
- How to scout an opponent
- Designing a game plan
- Important changes in the rules
- Preparing players for the next level
And the best news — for each 5 team players registered, one coach can attend the camp and workshops for free. (This includes free room and board.)
